The Miss Havisham
Solution 1-
For this impersonation I have made the skin the palest it could be and added light freckles to enhance the paleness of the skin. I have added dark circles on the eyes and a chapped sore lip. Girls like to take care of their lips and moisturise and for Miss Havisham she isn't going to be going into a relationship so doesn't really care about her appearance or face so I could imagine she'd like to pick at her chapped lips to make them sore and red.
Solution 2-
On my second design, I have developed my ideas and features, I have added a more elderly look and some shading and bags around the eyes. The lips I have just expanded a bit, I just don't know how I could create this look on a model to create dry and sore lips. I have also added a tiny bit of blush so it doesn't look too overly pale, if Miss Havisham wasn't how she were, I reckon she'd be very beautiful.
Solution 3-
Final Design-
My final design is based on the 1st and 2nd design i did but developed and i also extended my ideas to perform a better make-up appliance. My hair design is not to the best standard it could of been but I thought that my design represented Miss Havisham in how I see her character.
For my first design, I decided to try something out and experiment with different versions of Great Expectations, and as I preferred the BBC series better, I decided to try this one first. I found 2 of my favourite images from the episodes, of young and mature Estella and combined the make-up together to create a look. This is a simple look with pale skin and slight rose cheeks with a pale lip and a slight shimmer on the eyes. I think this look suits Estella well but it wasn't something that I felt passionate about doing so I decided to continue designing from different inspiration to get a better outlook.
Solution 2-
Inspiration-
This is my second design and for my inspiration, I looked at the make-up from Estella from the Great Expectations film. I chose my both favourite images to combine my ideas together to create a face chart. In the film, I think the Estella is more confident and has a lot more make-up than the BBC series so I wanted to show that so I added a little bit more colour to her face, but not too much, contoured the cheek in a blush colour and added more sparkle and eyeliner to the eye to create a more 'diva' look and to show that she gets her own way. I also added more colour to the lips and I think it worked better than the last design.

With my third and final design, I wanted Estella's personality to reflect on the make-up look that I designed. I was just flicking through Instagram and saw this image and thought of Estella straight away. In the film, she seems quite upset but has to hide the tears so I wanted to show them on the outside but also surround the tears with dark colours to reflect that she was still a dark and vicious character, but not by choice. I thought my design was very powerful and showed a lot of emotion so I decided to do that.
